Objects like luminous and regal Sirius is visible with the naked eye and was highly prominent in ancient astrology, but many astrologers have completely discounted stars like this one in the reading of a chart, or are not utilising them at all, for use in astrology. This is curious… because astrological objects like Sirius absolutely comes alive when read in the discovery charts of the trans-Neptunian objects, as was described in various blogs on this website.
This blog looks at some of the well known Fixed Stars and Behenian Fixed Stars purely because they feature strongly in either the discovery charts of the trans-Neptunian objects (like Sirius) or because they are currently massively pronounced due to transits (Sedna conjunct Alcyone/The Pleiades).
This is also explored because some are under the activation of the powerful directional energies of a yod apex, like the Sedna Yod from Haumea sextile Ixion/Varda that apexes on Sedna conjunct Alcyone/The Pleiades as well. Starting in 2014 and well into 2022, the Sedna yod had also been making an apex on Sedna conjunct malefic fixed star Algol at 26 degrees Taurus.
The fixed stars predominantly work through their aspects with the planets/objects. A fixed star can greatly magnify and modify a planet’s interpretation when it's conjunct, and bestow additional dimension to astrological understanding when in opposition or square, and in the discovery charts of the trans-Neptunian objects, they can make significant contribution. Every star in the sky has a unique set of qualities, thus this is worth exploring, because these objects are actually visible to the naked eye, not far off and completely obscure from view, like the trans-Neptunian objects. They have their worth when it comes to big picture application, despite many not choosing to read them for the natal/birth chart, which is just fine…
