Eris and Chiron in Aries will start their first conjunction in 2024, when Chiron moves into two degree orb on 17 July 2024.
The Eris square Pluto aspect ushered in massive change, with five direct hits from 2020-2021, ending the orb of influence in 2024, which is when Eris conjunct Chiron starts. If they were too much of a wreak, others would not resonate with them; he wanted them both eliminated from society, for him to sit on his exalted pedestal, being on top, having his foot on everyone’s neck. He perhaps felt like he was living it up in some kind of glamorous situation, with some kind of ultimate prize coming, and others were the battery for his ill-gotten gains, as the losers. Just like all the other planets, Eris energy too has a higher and a lower expression: it’s about PERCEPTION, GREAT FORTUNE, ARGUMENTS, opposing views and regarding having the authentic heart intentions in the right place, or not. It’s about the difficulty to acknowledge another of great potential for their true luminescent beauty, due to what this stirs inside; jealousy… The envier want the results of another’s efforts or state of being, without actually having done the work… There is an attachment to gain, money, power or rank, that turns off the heart energy and people into the worst version of themselves, with COERCIVE CONTROL leading to EMOTIONAL ABUSE for the envied. They want the clout or public persona, but they may not have the innovation, perseverance, vision, luck or heart, which is why a war starts within, that eventually expresses as a raging volcano, with ‘justification’ to cause pain for another with a treasure.
Eris is about the choices we make; the GOLD-DIGGER cheating their way to the top, ‘who is the fairest?’ with true intent, the right or wrong path to fortune, and far-reaching consequences. Eris issues start with being disconnected from the heart and its wisdom, and from this small matter, massive towering crises grow and empires fall.
It’s about SELF-ABSORPTION versus SELF-AWARENESS. People who don’t have the self-awareness, nor expansive energy fields, are limited in their ability able to grasp how their actions - that invades another’s rights - impact, disadvantages or injure them. When someone tries to steal another’s GREAT FORTUNE, they may just end up losing out on their own… for Eris transits are very long, and what goes around has shown to come back around… Pluto takes 248 years to orbit around the sun, and the effects of a Pluto transit are highly palpable for around 2-4 years depending. An Eris transit around the sun take about 557 years to orbit the sun. The Trojan war from the Iliad reached its zenith and completion in its 10th year. The lesson? Think twice before intentionally disadvantaging or harming another, or taking action meant to eat away at them… for the fallout or long term consequences may be mammoth…
Eris will first conjunct the North Node in Aries mid August - December 2023 which will entail having to discern false people and false communities, who just want to use others for their time, skills and talents, in order to feed off of them for selfish returns. Eris is about karmic relationships, and is the test of wether you have learnt your lesson in previous seasons when it comes to spotting false people who present grand dreams, ideas or concepts, that in the end reveal themselves as grand illusions... Some individuals are so steeped in spiritual poverty and lack mentality that they have to present themselves as some amazing person, in order to take a gain in life, off the back of the hard work or fine qualities of another.
Eris is about wanting to steal another’s unique attributes of light or for them to doubt their worth… due to misjudgement and faulty thinking…
These are the people who at the start of Eris transits reveal themselves as jealous, antagonistic and threatened by another’s potential within a community, and how the ‘in-relation’ dynamic makes one person look a certain way when compared to a tall poppy who shines brightly standing next to them. This is why associates or friends can turn into the competitor, who starts working against the best interests of a situation, because they want to be seen in the best light; thus the competition must be painted with a brush that tarnishes them in the eyes of society. These people are focussed on destiny lining up for those who they want to push off their square, so they can take their place. They don’t care what gets destroyed on the battlefield, as long as they and their personal agenda… win… It’s trying to fix an internal problem that they have within themselves (insecurity, doubt), with an external solution (an ego gain from making others lose). Nobody really wins, except for the protagonist who goes through the healing journey that elevates them, into Eris higher expression. Glory indeed, despite the battle where the destruction wreaked, was EPIC indeed…
Eris’ discovery chart shows how players, backbiters and narcissists aim to steal another’s deep emotional nourishment that may come from healthy, reciprocal relationship, with both self and others. Eris is about disturbing good people’s peace.
This is how the targeted are made to suffer… through devaluation and violation, flipping the script and turning their relationships on them… isolating them in their inner torment… The evil-spirited or diabolical wants others to feel how they feel. By attempting to cause them to self-destruct from the inside out, through psychological warfare / projection. There seems to be a pattern where highly authentic and individualistic (Eris and Chiron higher expression) people are viewed as a project - to be studied, or controlled - by inauthentic individuals or groups of them…
Both Eris and Chiron is about NOT focussing on what a player has done to harm another, but the underlying energies of what caused them to do what they did.
Both Eris and Chiron have psychological wounds around being abandoned, misunderstood, stolen from, denied, disrespected, and rejected, and how we have little control over what determines our connections with people and the world. Even though it is not immediately apparent from Eris’ mythological story, both need the healing journey. Both include the roles of wounded, the victim, the perpetrator, and the one who heals, as well as the switching of characters. Both include people who are ignorant, who refuse to change, and those who have grown into elevation.
Both Eris and Chiron encounter people who are determined to be dark, and unwilling to change. And they need to learn to set boundaries with those who want to indulge in the antagonist/protagonist dynamic, employing the narcissism of the mind to control and subdue.
The principal idea is to learn how to stop causing imbalance, hurting others and ourselves, from a place of deep-rooted woundedness and critical spirit. It is why we tend to encounter the same type of toxic people, and unfortunate circumstances over and over again. We have to drop the denial and ignorance, to change and evolve.
Eris energy is highly karmic in nature as a deep study of the discovery chart indicates.

Although the Eris blog describes Eris energy in general, the modern interpretation can be seen as Zeus being in secret competition with Achilles, and in the scheming to take him out, needing to throw a good-time pinata party illusion for society, to take potential whistleblower and truth speaker Eris out as well, by bashing and blaming her for the Trojan War, which was the secret brain child of Zeus himself with Themis. With everyone satisfied that they had a scapegoat, in being furious with anger at Eris, nobody would suspect that he was the secret enemy of both Eris’ truth speaking about his character, and Achilles fulfilling the prophecy of becoming a great man indeed, loved and remembered for thousands of years. Zeus had an envy eye, and he wanted for his gluttonous indulgence to remain a secret, and for others to suffer, for the fulfilment of his satisfaction.
Zeus wanted others to be and energetic mismatch to their own blessings by stressing them out and projecting a lot of negative energy, that they would miss out on what is rightfully theirs, yet that is what backfired… The overload of stress to cause another to lose, to tire them out, did not bring a good harvest. You reap what you sow.
