Discovery Details of the Trans-Neptunian and Kuiper Belt Objects
This website is about the astrological soul purpose messages of the trans-Neptunian and Kuiper belt objects, especially the brightest Kuiper belt objects that have already been named, like Pluto, MakeMake, Eris, Haumea, Orcus, Quaoar, Varda, Varuna and Ixion. Sedna is a dwarf planet but is not in the Kuiper belt, and is classified as a detached object. A large Kuiper belt object called Gonggong is also described in great detail, as it plays a pivotal role in the five pointed star we are currently seeing in the astrological sky (see information at the bottom of this page), as well as the massive amounts of rain and landslides we are currently seeing in some parts of the world.
Greek mythology originated in ancient Greece from the accumulated wisdom of pioneering philosophers like well known Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, that laid the foundations of Western thought, that still influence our understanding of the world today. These brilliant scholars began to use reason and logic to attempt to understand the cosmos, human behaviour, the intricacies of human morality, and branching from those philosophic revelations into the metaphysics of divine insight. The accumulation of what they learned, was presented to society in the form of plays, comedies, satyr plays, and tragedies.
SATIRE is a genre in which exaggeration, irony, humour or ridicule are used to criticise and expose flaws in human nature and behaviour. These mythological stories around certain people - with certain qualities, vices, follies, tragedies, or expressions - are what astronomers and astrologers today are linking to the energies of astrological bodies. It’s complicated, but it works… It is particularly helpful in understanding the challenging energies of the newly discovered trans-Neptunian- and Kuiper belt objects that deals with complex and particular social and relationship matters.
Greek mythology is known to be the very bedrock of modern civilisation, and it is only fitting then, that many answers about our currently problems, can be found there…
We need mythology, story and legend, in order to live our lives coherently.
Astromythology and Symbolic Language to Understand Common Human Experiences
One of the reasons why assimilation of the TNOs and KBOs have been so challenging in the astrological community, is lack of credible information about their discovery details - especially discovery time - as the date a digital (robotic) image was taken, that would later lead to a discovery by an astronomer having studied it, is not always the same date.
This is why this website focuses on the objects that had already been named, because both the astromythology, legend, story and ‘a general chart’ can be studied together for information. The symbolic language in these myths is a potent way to communicate universal concepts and their deeper meaning, to the shared experiences that we have, as a human collective. Symbolic language transcends cultures and social groups, and although the meanings and acceptances of symbolic language do vary, there is an ubiquitousness about them too. Symbolic language conveys everything inherent to what the human being feels, his expressions and sensations expressed. Mythology provides insight and revelation, and has to be coloured with many meanings if people are to universally understand it. The reason why many generations of people support these stories, and retell them, is because they are exotic and beautiful tales that have supernal meaning to the storytellers and the listeners. They are the accumulated accounts that have grown from the life experience of many travellers, because the best myths do not belong to just one person alone. It is the consolidation of a common lived human experience, told over and over again, to the point where it just resonates deeply with the listener, on a higher level. Mythology can be seen as a vehicle for carrying great truth.
The myths and aboriginal stories are rich, but having accurate astrological information helps a great deal…
Perhaps there are some individuals or organisations who would prefer that this information stay in the hands of a select few… for exclusivity… Why keep something so fundamentally important away from the astrological community and humanity?
As readers may gather from the information below, finding reliable and accurate information online - regarding the most accurate date and time to use, to cast a discovery chart - is highly challenging and controversial. The choices that I have made to use certain times, where limited information is available, were made with the most careful of considerations. Below is the discovery date details as is used in this website, and in the online courses.
The energies at play within the trans-Neptunian objects depend on great many things, however, one can look at the placement of the object within its own discovery chart, to determine some of the dynamics; like the house placement, sign and aspects made, particularly conjunctions, oppositions and squares with other planets and trans-Neptunian objects as well. The Sabian symbol of the object in its own discovery chart, is taken from the degree following, and this adds significant meaning to the object, in symbolic language. Also consider the astromythology around the object. Some of the objects do not have a reliable time of discovery, or a questionable time of discovery, thus this has to be given strong consideration.
Pluto
It’s important to remember that Pluto too is a trans-Neptunian object, and in the Kuiper belt. On 24 August 2006, at a meeting in Prague, the International Astronomers' Union declared that Pluto is no longer a planet, but relegated to a new category labelled “dwarf planets”. The team was Palomar Observatory based one, however, the data is sent to Pasadena were computers analyse it. A computer reanalysis found the new planet at 11:20AM PST on January 5th 2005.

These three panels show the first detection of the faint distant object dubbed "Sedna." Imaged on November 14th from 6:32 to 9:38 Universal Time, Sedna was identified by the slight shift in position noted in these three pictures taken at different times. Subsequent observations at longer time intervals provided the information necessary to deduce the nature of Sedna's 10,500 year orbit around the Sun.
I used a Time Zone Converter to convert the UTC time zone using 7:00 (a spontaneous choice), into the time for Los Angeles (close to where the Palomar Mountain Observatory in California is).14 November 2003 7:00 Universal time CONVERTED to 13 November 2003 11PM in Los Angeles, California
According to Astro.com, they use a later date for the discovery chart, and the following is written in the Source Notes: "From a scientific paper by Michael Brown about its discovery. In addition, Tony Louis writes, "I wrote to Chad Trujillo, one of the discoverers of Sedna at Cal Tech. Here is his response about the time of the discovery: 'The location was Palomar Mountain in Southern California. The time was 2003 Nov 14, 06:32:57 Universal Time.'" PT notes that this is equivalent to November 13, 2003 at 10:32 PM PST. Susan Sarkes writes on 4/27/2004 that she had the following by e-mail from Michael Brown: "Susan -- There are 2 answers, since the pictures are taken robotically and looked at a few days later. The pictures were taken on 14Nov 2003 6:32, 8:03, 9:38 GMT. But I didn't see them and thus "discover" Sedna until 10:50am PST 19 Nov 2003.--Mike""

According to Wikipedia, Orcus was discovered by a team of astronomers by precovery images taken by the Palomar Observatory as early as 8 November 1951 were later obtained from the Digitized Sky Survey. Find the discovery image of Orcus taken in 2004 here.

Quaoar was first identified in images by Trujillo on 5 June 2002, when he noticed a dim object..."
According to this website Chad Trujillo reportedly said, "The first discovery image was taken at 2002 June 04 05:41:40 (Universal Time = Greenwich, England) from the Palomar Observatory 48-inch Oschin telescope. I identified Quaoar in the image at 2002 Jun 05 10:48:08 (Pacific Daylight Time)."
According to this website: "[The] Animation of three discovery images taken over a period of 4.5 hours, showing the slow movement of Quaoar (indicated by the arrow)".

It’s about the five pointed star in the sky, the four Yods and three Hammer of Thor aspect patterns.
The Gonggong Yod is all about the massive chaos caused by floods, too much rain and landslides.
The Sedna Yod is about the respect for people, animals and the natural world being violated and betrayed, and how the natural world can come back to bite. When the WHO announced a global health emergency on 31 January 2020, Haumea in Libra was sextile to Ixion in Sagittarius making a Yod apex on Sedna and malefic fixed star Algol. When WHO announced a global health emergency for Monkey Pox on 24 July 2022, the Sedna Yod was again active with apex on Sedna at 29 degrees Taurus; the crisis degree.
The Varuna Yod is about sacred law and order, justice and truth in the cosmos that is returning as some reconnect to their emotions, and come to their senses regarding social injustices.
The Haumea Yod is about being able to birth the new, and wild abundance and providence of nature that can be created when appropriate governmental structures support benevolence for all.
The MakeMake square Quaoar aspect is about is about the smite that the Hammer of Thor apex makes in Taurus smiting things Taurus, perhaps into oblivion. Curiously, both this Hammer apex and the Sedna Yod makes apexes in Taurus, which is the sign of the bull. Together they are creating massive upset and change in agriculture, the natural world, earth matters, and with cattle; with the recent threat of foot and mouth disease in Australia a great example of the manifestation of this energy. This Hammer apex will also be on malefic fixed star Algol, Uranus and eventually Sedna.
The Eris square Pluto aspect also created a Hammer of Thor apex on Orcus in Virgo, sending everyone packing for the underworld.
