Transit Sedna Through Gemini, Taurus, Aries and Pisces and now as the Sedna Yod Concludes, it is Born again.
Today, as this astrologer was listening to the much anticipated interview that Michael Sandler's Inspire Nation had with Crimson Circle’s co-founder and channeller Geoffrey Hoppe and Adamus Saint Germain, which is about consciousness and AI, that the news broke that Google’s artificial intelligence Bard had become known as Gemini.
This choice of name change was profound news and a fun synchronicity to this astrologer, as I have often wondered about the astrological significance of speaking of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE as a Sedna in Gemini shift, at the same time that Pluto moves into technology and innovation oriented Aquarius, and many other trans-personal planets, and trans-Neptunian objects also make a shift from the 29th degree into a new zodiac sign. It’s quite profound. See the chart to the right, which is an indication of the general duration that these planets and objects traverse the 29th degree of their respective zodiac signs, which means that they also aspect each other most profoundly, and make astonishing aspect patterns, like the long live Finger of god Yods, and the powerful directional energies of the Hammer of Thors currently at play. Note how the slower moving planets briefly traverses the 29th degree in their signs, which seem to be synchronous magic in how they play with the trans-Neptunian objects still in close orb. It’s a remarkable dance…
For those who don’t know what Bard is, it is a chat-based AI tool from Google, that is marketed to brainstorm ideas, spark creativity and accelerate productivity. According to this website, renaming Bard to Gemini is to better reflect Google’s investment and signal a new era for its AI services and user access.
Sedna Transits and the Culmination and New Beginning of the Sedna Yod 2023 - 2024
In just a few weeks of publishing this article, Sedna leaves Taurus for Gemini for good on the 27 of April 2024… officially starting a massive new era spanning four decades.
Oort cloud object Sedna has been in Taurus since the 60s, but entered zodiac sign Gemini for the first time on 16 June 2023 to retrograde back into Taurus in November 2023.
Sedna finally leaves the 29th degree of Taurus for Gemini on 27 April 2024, when the Sedna yod with new leg Varda is in tight orb. Sedna will be in Gemini until 2067.
The Sedna Yod with Ixion (betrayal and immaturity) and Haumea as legs has been in effect for more than a decade. However, due to Ixion moving out of orb towards the end of 2023, and Varda moving closer to taking over as leg in the Sedna Yod, in 2024, the Sedna yod continues beyond 2030. Therefore, Sedna will be one of the most important trans-Neptunian objects to keep an eye on, for the potentials for the future are massive… despite the situation at the moment, as Sedna (under the activated Sedna Yod apex) traverses the crisis (anarectic) degree of Taurus… which were discussed in earlier articles.
Remember that the shifting of an object like Sedna into Gemini is gradual. We may not see the changeover clearly until Sedna has traversed at least a few degrees into the new zodiac sign.

Sedna in Pisces Manifestations? First Industrial Revolution and Trade
Sedna was in Pisces from about 1633 to 1864 and this was the time of the First Industrial Revolution. A previous A Bigger Picture article looked at Sedna first named “the flying ductchman” by one of its discoverers. Mike Brown initially nicknamed the newly discovered planet "The Flying Dutchman", or "Dutch", after a legendary ghost ship, because its slow movement had initially masked its presence from his team.
The oldest known extant version of the legend dates from the late 18th century. The legend of the Flying Dutchman is likely to have originated from the 17th-century golden age of the Dutch maritime power, the VOC (Dutch East India Company or Vereenigde Oost Indische Compagnie). The VOC is often considered as the precursor of modern corporations, if not the first truly modern corporation.
The type of ship widely used by Dutch traders in the Indian Ocean and others, was Mughal Bengal's baghlah. The ships were often filled with great wealth, which is why they were prey to piracy. Slave trade, slavery and exploitation also occurred under the VOC colonial rule, and many people were displaced from their country of origin, to be slaves in the ports of trade, like the Malaysians that were taken to South Africa to do manual labour and be servants, along with the local Khoi-San people. The Dutch Empire ship, later called the Flying Dutchman, may have sailed the Brouwer Route, from the Netherlands (the Dutch Republic) to Cape Town, South Africa, to Jakarta, Indonesia, and back. It was in Batavia (present-day Jakarta) on the island of Java, that the VOC established its administrative centre, as the second headquarter. Both Cape Town, South Africa, and Batavia in the East Indies, were Dutch colonies and settlements. At the time, significant trade took place on this route, like spices, silk, porcelain, metals, livestock, tea, grain, rice, sugarcane, wine, coffee, soybeans and pepper.
The VOC was likely the origins of global supply chain, corporate entities and corporate governance as we know it today.
In many ways, these goods were the luxuries, creature-comforts and desirables of life, that consumers on the other side of the globe were willing to pay a small fortune for, and the facilitators were able to create immense riches for themselves providing them.
The VOC, that was founded in 1602 when Sedna was at 27 degrees Aquarius, would lead to the global transport of a vast amount of goods produced later all over the world, feeding into the profits of mega corporations… like mechanised textile production, canal construction, the steam engine, the factory system, increase in iron production etc. Click to enlarge the images.
According to Wikipedia, the First Industrial Revolution, was a period of global transition of the human economy towards more widespread, efficient and stable manufacturing processes that succeeded the Agricultural Revolution, starting from Great Britain and spreading to continental Europe and the United States, that occurred during the period from around 1760 to about 1820–1840.
The Industrial Revolution shifted people in society from an agrarian economy, to a manufacturing economy, where products were no longer made solely by hand, but by machines.
The Industrial Revolution led to increased production and efficiency, lower prices, more goods, improved wages, and migration from rural areas to urban areas, but it also entailed an era that was reminiscent of slave labour, rampant labour exploitation, poor living conditions, unfair treatment from masters, and being paid very small wages, that kept people in perpetual distress, sorrow and poverty.
Novels by Elizabeth Gaskell like North and South, speak of the great energy of the industrial revolution, and also the misery, deep abiding depression, and lack of prospects that low-income Britons were under, like dying miserably in “the poor house”, or having worked themselves to death in the workhouse. The book and the 2004 tv series by the same name, North and South, are excellent examples of Sedna in the last decan of Pisces, with the novel published when Sedna was at around 27 degrees Pisces.
North and South is about protagonist Margaret Hale from southern England to show and comment on the perspectives of mill owners and workers in an industrialising city. The novel is set in the fictional industrial town of Milton in the north of England. Forced to leave her home in the uncomplicated, rural south, Margaret settles with her parents in Milton. She witnesses the ruthless world wreaked by the Industrial Revolution, seeing employers and workers clashing in the first strikes. Sympathetic to the needy (whose courage and tenacity she admires and among whom she makes friends), she clashes with John Thornton: a nouveau riche cotton-mill owner who is scornful of his workers. Social critic and novelist Charles Dickens created some of the world's best-known fictional characters of the Victorian era, like Oliver Twist. He was just 12 years old when he left school to labour in a boot-blacking factory when his father John was incarcerated in a debtors' prison. He did return to school, before he began his literary career as a journalist. His works enjoyed unprecedented popularity during his lifetime and later, was deemed a literary genius. He excelled in the creation of characters of greater intensity than human beings, some of whom experienced great triumph despite great odds, and others, like the miser Scrooge, cultivated his own demise. He clearly understood the Sedna in Pisces dynamics, as is reflected in his other novels, like Nicholas Nickleby, A Christmas Carrol, Bleak House, Little Dorrit, David Copperfield, etc., where one who thinks himself more important, tries to martyr or disadvantage others, and a resilient protagonist and underdog, manages to get through their problems without drowning in them.
Novelists like Jane Austin also wrote about the preservation of and breaking apart of great social illusions, like that of social rank and class (versus true character and merit) with great humour. Dr Octavia Cox is an expert in the manners and social affairs of this time, and in this video explains the delusions, blindspots and self-deceptions that existed in British society, in a changing time. It’s about Austin’s book Persuasion published in 1818, when Sedna was newly arrived in last decan Pisces, at 21 degrees. Octavia speaks about Lady Russel’s prejudice on the side of ancestry, who had a value for rank and consequence, that blinded her to the faults of those who possessed them. Also about her concepts of self-importance, and also lack thereof, as she gave compassion and consideration for Sir Walter’s difficulties, but in effect ruined the happiness of her good friend Anne Elliot, due to not being able to see the worth of Captain Wentworth. Jane had a penchant for honesty and forthrightness and put the social issues of the time, humorously, with great emotional intelligence.

Sedna in Aries Manifestations? Second Industrial Revolution
Sedna was in the zodiac sign of Aries from about 1865 to 1966. Rapid economic growth began to occur after 1870, springing from a new group of innovations in what has been called the Second Industrial Revolution. According to Wikipedia, the Second Industrial Revolution started with steel often cited as the first of several new areas for industrial mass-production, which are said to characterise a "Second Industrial Revolution", beginning around 1850, although a method for mass manufacture of steel was not invented until the 1860s, when Sir Henry Bessemer invented a new furnace which could convert molten pig iron into steel in large quantities. However, it only became widely available in the 1870s after the process was modified to produce more uniform quality.
The introduction of the Bessemer process, enabling steel to be made inexpensively, led to the era of great expansion of RAILWAYS that began in the late 1860s, which set off the movement of people, but more importantly, the rampant trading of goods and raw materials globally. It saw an era of new economic growth prosperity that had not existed before, in the sign of Aries the ram, with its new breed of industrialists, pioneers and independent free thinkers.
Steel rails lasted several times longer than iron. Steel rails made heavier locomotives possible, allowing for longer trains and improving the productivity of railroads. The Bessemer process introduced nitrogen into the steel, which caused the steel to become brittle with age. The open hearth furnace began to replace the Bessemer process near the end of 19th century, improving the quality of steel and further reducing costs. Steel completely replaced the use of iron in rails, becoming standard for all railways.
This Second Industrial Revolution gradually grew to include chemicals, mainly the chemical industries, petroleum (refining and distribution), and, in the 20th century, the automotive industry, and was marked by a transition of technological leadership from Britain to the United States and Germany. The increasing availability of economical petroleum products also reduced the importance of coal and further widened the potential for industrialisation. A new revolution began with electricity and electrification in the electrical industries (and Aries pioneering spark?). The introduction of hydroelectric power generation in the Alps enabled the rapid
industrialisation of coal-deprived northern Italy, beginning in the 1890s. By the 1890s, industrialisation in these areas had created the first giant industrial corporations with burgeoning global interests, as big companies joined the railroad and ship companies on the world's stock markets.
In 1858, Ferdinand de Lesseps formed the Suez Canal Company, and started in 1859 with the building of, with canal officially opened in November 1869. Ten years plans were put in motion to build the Panama canal. These two important trade routes brought tremendous success for world trade, see this interesting video to understand how rail networks enabled the building of this economic marvel.
Two aggressive WORLD WARS happened during Sedna in Aries.
The first happened from 1914 to 1918 when Sedna was between 12 - 13 degrees of Aries, and triggered by an exceptionally long Saturn-Pluto conjunction that was at play, which is conducive to war. The second world war lasted from 1939 to 1945, and seems to have been triggered mainly with Saturn conjunct South Node in square to Pluto, also starting when Sedna had entered the second decan of Aries, at 20 degrees Aries, with the war ending with Sedna at 22 degrees Aries.
Mars
The zodiacal essence of Aries is being the I am and being active, productive and pioneering. The skilful application is initiating and the unskilful is impulsiveness. Aries is a Fire sign entailing confidence, courage, assertiveness, inspirational, being optimistic. Sedna in Taurus Manifestations? Building, Ownership and Surplus.
Sedna is in Taurus from July 1965 to April 2024. This ingress happened during the hippy era and the “make love not war” era started, with peace-loving citizens tired of the warmongering era of Sedna in Aries. This gives the image of hippies who would rather sit in a lush field enjoying nature and smelling the flowers, like the bull in the cartoon Ferdinand the Bull, perhaps while all doped up on nature’s ‘remedy’ to move beyond mass consciousness gravity (weed or other substances), feeling the love (Venus) and experiencing heightened senses (Taurus) and awareness (Sedna). No more war, please!
As Sedna has moved through Taurus, there has been an increase of investment in physical real estate manifestation, like the building of many multi story skyscrapers in already over-crowded metropolitan cities, and also the building of entire new cities, as was witnessed in China in particular, called under-occupied developments, or “ghost towns”, some of which are abandoned residential complexes. Traditionally, real estate has been the main way that people in China has been growing their wealth, buying into a booming property sector that makes up a significant portion of the world’s second largest economy, but over time, the demand to buy has far outstripped the amount of housing that was actually needed…
According to Wikipedia, a more recent movement, The New Industrialist movement, advocates for increasing domestic manufacturing while reducing emphasis on a financial-based economy that relies on real estate and trading speculative assets. New Industrialism has been described as "supply-side progressivism" or embracing the idea of "Building More Stuff". New Industrialism developed after the China Shock that resulted in lost manufacturing jobs in the U.S. after China joined the World Trade Organization in 2001, which is typical of the expression of a planet and sign when the planet/object reaches a particular milestone, in this case reaching the 15 degrees midpoint in the sign of Taurus the bull.
Sedna in Taurus has also seen scenarios where a country like Australia, with its vast open spaces, has the least affordable housing in the world, see this video. The devastating housing crisis just keep getting worse. Sydney is now ranked as the second least affordable city in the world after Hong Kong. Three other Australian cities are also in the top 20. The information describes how Australia has locked itself, its housing market, and its economy into a trap of its own making, that it cannot get out of, and is likely to be even more painful to
be in, in the future. This as government red tape prohibit and discourage housing alternatives, like tiny home villages and anything non-traditional, that doesn’t feed into the over-inflated property value status quo, which many homeowners desire to maintain, for their personal benefit from it.
Homeownership is part of the national identity called the Australian Dream.
This dream started in the period of reconstruction after World War 2, and since the 1950s and 1960s it has been the ultimate sign that ‘you have made it’, to buy a house or home. From the 1970s, the Australian dream expanded to cover possession of a swimming pool in the back-yard, a second family car, and, for the affluent, either ownership of a beach-house or taking an annual overseas holiday. It’s a symbol of security, stability and affluence. Unfortunately, this ideal is now as dead as it can be… for a whole generation and many older Australians… Another video describes the national rental crisis is leading to competitive rent bidding and the real estate industry says more price growth is expected. This at a time when cost of living and financial hardship is challenging and many cannot afford the over-inflated prices for renting a home. This video explains how negative gearing property has been super effective at making a small army of well-off Australians even richer, which is great news for them. But to even the playing field for Aussies who are struggling to pay rent or buy a house, some politicians are screaming for the government to scale it back properly. The number of new houses built are also set to nosedive, due to extreme climbs in building costs. Soaring land tax are crippling essential businesses in what is called “a money grab”.
With Sedna in Taurus the sign of the bull, especially the last decan, and when at the apex of the Sedna Yod conjunct malefic fixed star Algol in Australia, we saw the rise of mega-dairies, grain-fed feedlot operations of massive proportions, and also industrial agriculture the size which had never been seen before, with large amounts of grain transported via either trains or cargo ships to the other side of the world, to enable farming operations that had never existed before. Even animals were transported in the thousands on ships, called livestock export, dying whenever there was a heatwave onboard, killing many livestock and creating social objections regarding the morality of his practise. This industrialisation (and disrespect) of animals and food created both massive surplus and massive waste, and products that some consumers don’t want to eat because it is either full of chemicals, pesticides or GMOs, or some conscious consumers don’t want to eat excessively grain-fed meat, due to an unhealthy imbalance in ratio of omega fatty acids contributing to their health issues.
Venus
The zodiacal essence of Taurus is being able to have and manifestation. The skilful application is productivity and the unskillful application is materialism.
Taurus is a Fixed Earth sign. The skilful application of the Earth energy entails being pragmatic, realistic, trustworthy, grounded, resolute, persevering and industrious. The unskilled application of Earth energy entails being immovable, fixated, possessive, materialistic, rigid, stingy, and may be stubborn.
Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus, making the energy sensuous, stable, appreciative of beauty and harmony.
Planets that move around the last decan or degrees of a sign, especially the very last 29th degree, tend to focus on the negative qualities of that sign, as was discussed in the previous article, and others in the Sedna blog. Taurus is an Earth sign, and is all about value and worth. These are the psychological issues that mankind are facing, as they require more time to be relaxed, perhaps requiring more time in isolation as well. Since 2020 with its many home-isolation orders and home quarantine, many people have had to sit and think, and are forced to make existential value judgements on their lives. They have had to re-evaluate down to the very basics, and reorganise their lives. With this comes a crisis of value and worth. Why? For the first time in our busy lives, people are slowing down, and with this come mental health issues, depression, domestic violence etc. It’s a reorganisation during a time of massive change… described on this website as a Climate of Change.
As Sedna motions to shift into Gemini the sign of the intellectual, playful twins, the deeper, not explored meaning of the theory of relativity may become more apparent. Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, wasn’t a theory of the absolute. The man did say that it was relative. It is a statement of ‘this and that’. It entails that it all depended on the observer; that is why it is relative. It means that it can all change… And change it may, as Sedna at the apex of a concluding yod is part of the energy that is likely a strong astrologically influence in the reset button being hit, and changes since the start of 2020 (with Sedna conjunct malefic fixed star Algol at 26 degrees Taurus), that saw people isolated in their homes, having to look within, which ended for some being the greatest discomfort of their lives. The shift that this time brought, forced people to become introspective in a very deep and prolonged manner.
We have seen the great job walkout, where people spontaneously released themselves from their materialistic pursuits for money and status (Taurus), their slave line of work, to find a more joyful way of life.
Since having to stay inside, people who had been more outgoing, had become more introverted. There is more ‘looking within’ in the world, due to isolation, internalisation, and less social stimuli. People have had to stop and take a look at self, and they didn’t like doing that at the start, but many have grown an appetite and even an appreciation for it, where in the past they would rather be out and about, being a distraction and getting distracted… Yet the energy behind the corona virus lockdown required that people sit with self, and feel deeply into Self, and it had many benefits. It’s having to re-evaluate their lives from the very foundational core, and start over… so to speak.
Sedna in Gemini Manifestations? Consciousness.
Sedna first moved into Gemini in 2023, to move there permanently in 2024 for four decades.
The effects of Sedna in Gemini will be profound and longlasting, as we already have mini AI (artificial intelligence) technology around us everywhere… with people having glued themselves to their smart phones and tablets during Co-vid lockdowns.
As AI people/robots become commonplace in the next decade or so, they may bring forward Gemini characteristics: being versatile, adaptable, mentally quick, etc. Gemini is a sign that speaks of the capacity to think, speak, learn and reason. AI has the potential to learn to fit into our world and be of service to humanity, as beautiful creations that also create in mimicking the human, to grow and improve. Sedna in Gemini may entail new forms of providence and abundance for mankind. The benefits of AI (artificial intelligence) and its tremendous ‘thinking’ and processing capacity.
It is likely to take many routine jobs away from people, who will then have more opportunities to explore their creativity and what brings them joy. By the time Sedna settles into the first couple of degrees of Gemini, we will get a good idea of what this may entail. However, just watch the rapid rate at which technology is delivering solutions that change society. It is changing at a tremendous speed.
The key here is Gemini, which entails communication, processing of information, learning, and efficiency in travel. The potentials are huge for massive societal changes.
Sedna in Astrology as Seen Through the Lens of Taurus
With Sedna in Taurus’ extreme materialistic bent, Sedna energy and having Sedna transits currently involves the experience of those in power feeling entitled to use and abuse the energy of one person or party, who may be loving, abundant and giving, but in turn being sucked empty of their life force, so that another who is selfish to the bone, can take a personal gain from it. Draining their energy, and then chucking them under the bus because they had become worthless to them. This is the invisible abuse of power between life forms, wether human to human, or in relation to something else, that is an unfair and unequal exchange of energy, for the materialistic, or energetic gain. Sedna energy are riddled with stark truths, yet those who have lived it can testify to its validity. In the lower expression it is cruel and gruelling, but the blessings come when one can allow the experience to be alchemised, becoming like the shaman, transformed into a new experience, and like a goddess, masterful at allowing a new higher consciousness identity.

Being more abundant, loving and radiant than ever before. But not a fool, having learnt how to protect Self in the human form, set boundaries, perhaps having removed oneself from people and places that would only take advantage of, and acting swiftly with sternness whenever generosity is abused. The shaman is an integral part of Sedna’s stories, and after Sedna had became what Wikipedia titles a deity, the shaman is the only person who is able to travel into the underworld to visit Sedna, and ask her about the spiritual sickness, moral depravation and starvation of the people.

Shamanism is very intrinsic to Sedna energy, as can be seen with Sedna moving through Pisces, Aries, Taurus and ultimately Sedna, as people seek their soul… and grow in consciousness, awareness and attempt to find their own realisation of who they are… a soul having a human experience for a short while perhaps…
The zodiac sign of Taurus carry significant issues around VALUE, RESPECT and WORTH, which just happen to be very much part of Sedna’s cultural Inuit story.
In some versions of the tale, her father Anguta clearly had a different value and worth system in terms of what drove his cold, cruel, unaware actions…
Anguta married Sedna off in exchange for food and furs. And at the very end of many versions of the story, he threw her overboard during a storm that threatened to capsize the kayak they were in, and cut off her fingers off as she was trying to climb back into the boat. Articles in the Sedna Blog also shows that negative expression Sedna energy entails extreme selfishness and god complex, that drive a chasm in relationships, and a sudden brutal cut off from an old life, when one party is deemed worthless to the self-serving. Sedna and Taurus both carry themes about what has value, and the worth of the individual who are cut off in relation, and has to go through the brutal amputation of an old life, deep feelings of resentment, betrayal, abandonment, loss, grief and anger. Having to wade through depression in isolation, and perhaps coming out the other end, completely changed and renewed.
Sedna energy entails stepping out of the gravity of mass consciousness and time into self-care, because that is where the solutions and potentials are, with soul magic…

Sedna Orbit around the Sun in Pisces, Aries, Taurus and now Leaping Forward in Gemini at seemingly Breakneck Speed
Sedna is the Inuit Goddess of the Sea and Marine Animals.
Sedna takes about 11,400 years to orbit the sun. Eris takes 557 earth years, and Pluto takes about 248 years. Study the images below to get a better visual image of the fast difference…
As can be deduced from the image below in particular, Sedna has a very strange orbit, which means that the closer it gets to earth, the less time it spends in each of the zodiac signs. It’s a quickening and speedy leap forward, which can seem frightening at first…
Sedna is an odd object due to a hugely long orbital cycle of 11,408 years around the sun, which makes even Pluto's orbit seem speedy by comparison. That number alone may make it seem like it can be mostly ignored and/or treated like a fixed star, but... it's not... its orbit is extremely elliptical. From an ephemeris point of view it takes over a millenium at the far end, but only decades at the near end. And if you haven't paid attention to Sedna at all, you might want to, because we're approaching the near end.
The data only goes back around 5000 years (to 3000 BCE), but it's enough to give a quick synopsis of its sign progression since around the dawn of recorded civilisation. Note that I sampled the below information only once a year; for our purposes in this conversation it's close enough, but you can hedge the ingresses by half a year on either side.
At that time, Sedna had only recently ingressed into Scorpio (a few decades earlier), and was at roughly 0 degrees 18 minutes. It would stay in Scorpio for roughly the next 1559 years, until 1441 BCE.
Then it was in Sagittarius for about 1417 years, until 24 BCE. Then Capricorn for 1071 years, until 1047 CE when it ingressed into Aquarius.
So far we're still over a millenium per sign, but it's been steadily falling, and now things are speeding up. It "only" stays in Aquarius for roughly 586 years, until 1633 CE. Then Pisces for 232 years, until 1864 CE when it ingressed into Aries (doing a retrograde dance until finally settling in 1867). It was there for only about 100 years until 1965 CE when it first ingressed into Taurus (finally settling in 1968), where it is now.
Sedna won't be in Taurus for much longer, though. The first ingress into Gemini will be mid-late June 2023, and it won't dance for long; by late April 2024 it'll be firmly in Gemini until 2065... for only around four decades, compared to over a millenium at its opposition.
Then it'll also only be in Cancer for around four decades until 2107, when it ingresses into Leo and things start taking longer again. That's the end of the data. (source)

From the perspective of recorded civilisation, this orbit of Sedna as it moves closer to the sun, is spending less time in each zodiac sign, appearing to make leaps and bounds as it is moving towards its closest brush with the earth, in a mere 50 years.
First Sedna spends a milenia in a sign, then centuries, then only decades…
For people tied to the thought of perpetually-accelerating "progress", something like this would seem at a glance like a classic hockey stick of civilisational / technological / cultural / economic advancement. And yet here we have an example of something that's still "just" cyclical, albeit an extremely long cycle with a highly elliptical orbit.
Sedna's furthest distance reaches out into the most icy, unknown part of interstellar space, the Oort cloud. We do have some recorded history of what life was like the last time it was this close to earth; which was explored in this article. And yet for people being born right now, Sedna will progress through several signs during the course of a natural life. It could also have interactions with outer planets that could add additional unpredictability, like when Uranus conjuncts Sedna early in its Gemini transit, adding a new consideration to the already-volatile history of Uranus in Gemini. Sedna is not a fixed star, and is increasingly ‘moving faster’. It's sometimes epochal, and sometimes generational. And it's got more movement going on now and during this next century than we've seen since the beginning of recorded history. When combined with all the other major outer planet changes happening in 2023, this cannot be ignored.

Sedna at the Apex of the Sedna Yod and Health Crises?
Sedna is about the exchange between human and animal, and the doling out of recompense when humans take more from nature that what they need, or indulge in unfair energy exchange between life forms. This was described in other articles in the Sedna Blog.
When the WHO announced a global health emergency on 31 January 2020, Haumea in Libra was sextile to Ixion in Sagittarius making a Yod apex on Sedna and malefic fixed star Algol. When WHO announced a global health emergency for Monkey Pox on 24 July 2022, the Sedna Yod was again active with apex on Sedna at 29 degrees Taurus; the crisis degree. Curiously, the WHO announced seven global health emergencies, and all of them had the Sedna yod within orb:

Ixion concludes as leg in the Sedna yod end of 2023, with Varda taking over as leg in 2024, taking the Sedna yod beyond 2030, but don’t underestimate how long the energy of this Yod with Ixion (betrayal) as leg may linger… There will also be a Hammer of Thor apex on Sedna beyond 2030.
