The Astrology of Animal Rights Activists, Political Tactics to Curb Farming and Nutrient-dense Food

In the last five years, animal rights and climate change activists have been a rising force rocking the status quo boat in Australia with decisive action and follow through.

They are accused of ‘bullying and harassing’ farmers and families here in Australia, with anti-social behaviour and guerilla-style tactics as marketing for a film showing animal cruelty, while also promoting veganism as a lifestyle and stirring support in politics but also losing support in other areas. They are bringing about rapid change through lobbying, proposals and collaborations, with a sense of timing that is highly alarming for some… for the stakes are high as it pertains to our food security and food system… Small scale farming is severely challenged by large animal agriculture industry groups that influence government bureaucracy, to prevent the farmer-consumer relationships and the production of the food that conscious consumers are looking for. Sedna has been conjunct malefic star Algol in Taurus as early as mid 2014, which is when the political push for industrial agriculture and international trade in Australia took off in earnest… consumer choice was CRUELY curbed, and when animal rights activists started protesting about animal cruelty in farming.

Some of the astrological energies are quite apparent, like the ‘once in a century’ mass flooding that falls under Gonggong, however when it comes to the organisations and political movements behind recent concerns, they seem to be added into one melting pot of protest… Animal rights falls

under Sedna, but issues like climate change, from a political perspective, is concerned under a wider umbrella, meaning MakeMake, Sedna and Gonggong. All these energies are currently so heavily pronounced, that it is challenging to put forth definitive borders… Together they are part of massive change, in what this website refers to as ‘the climate of change’. See the video below.

What are the Astrological Signatures around this Extreme Antagonistic Behaviour that Infringes on the Right to Farm?

Trans-Neptunian objects MakeMake in Libra and Quaoar in Capricorn has been in square for many years, just like the slow-moving Sedna Yod in Taurus/Gemini. Many of the times these have been in close orb, there has been a stirring amongst animal activists to put themselves in the media spotlight, with their social and political ambitions… Another article describes why the last decan in Taurus in Australia’s chart is highly significant, with Australia’s Moon at 20 degrees Taurus and the South Node at 29 degrees Taurus… These are the areas that are currently highlighted… Australia’s ‘head’ seems poised on a chopping block… especially with foot and mouth disease having become a massive threat in June 2022, when Uranus was at 18 degrees Taurus, first came close to a hammer apex…

Competitors would climb more than 200 meters (656ft) down the cliff wall of the volcano, swim with the help of reed floats out to the islet called Motu Nui, retrieve a new egg from the Manutara bird. They then had to swim back and climb up the cliff. The first competitor to return with an intact egg was declared winner and would earn the privileges of the king during 12 months. via Wikimedia Commons. MakeMake is often prominent in the birth charts those involved in the activism associated with defending the environment (especially animal activism), as other astrologers like Henry Seltzer from Astrograph.com have also found. Eris is another TNO that are involved in social justice issues, as it pertains to injustice in relationship. Eris is about the envious antagonist who wants to protagonist to forfeit their blessings, for the self-serving and undeserving to have them or profit instead, so that the protagonist can have a pre-mature death to their dreams, due to conflict and chaos. Another article provides examples of Haumea being prominent in the charts of those with a profound love for the conservation of nature, like naturalists and conservationists, with Sir David Attenborough as a famous example. Sedna is also famously connected with the required gratitude and reverence for the ethical treatment of animals as sustenance (read food), and not taking more from nature than what one needs.

It’s been four years since ‘the world’s biggest animal rights protest’, so what are the signatures of the animal activism we’ve seen in recent years here in Australia?

It appears to be a mixed bag, especially as it pertains to the terrorist-like disruption, and harassment tactics by those called radicalised extremists and vigilantes who force their philosophical views on other ‘eaters’ in the community.

The astrology of Makemake is related to bringing exhilarating political change.

It’s understanding the need for preservation of the natural world, a connection to environmental wisdom, and to the activism and leadership associated with defending natural ecosystems, due to potential extinction if an over-indulgent way of life is not checked.

Image: Head is like those found on some moai kavakava figures. via Wikimedia Commons.

MakeMake is the need to understand being in right relationship with nature and other people, and taking right action for the benefit of everyone.

In the higher expression it is about being in the natural flow of one’s own divine energy, and the concept of natural law; that each human being need to find integrity, moral compass and connection with the sacred within themselves first, before they can be in leadership of others.

Unfortunately, many animal rights activists are operating from the negative expression of MakeMake, without having discovered the mature expression…

And finding this enlightenment is what the astrological energies have been driving for the last couple of years… in the form of great energetic tension… Those who wish to understand the energy dynamics will find more information on the MakeMake blog, and Sedna blog, and those who are only superficially interested in the astrological value and how it applies, may not comprehend the wisdom in this article at all… It is not the job of this astrologer to lay everything out on a silver platter, but to inspire the enquiring mind to find its own resonance in the information already provided. Astromythology is symbolic language, and if you are not willing to sit, reflect, do your own research, and absorb the information, in order to ultimately understand, this article may not be for you…

This Article Acknowledges:

  • This article acknowledges that there are cruelties in the industrial livestock system that conscious food consumers are disturbed by, that may be perpetuated by actions like ag-gag laws, or farm trespass laws, as a potential smokescreen to criminalise animal welfare campaigner whistleblowers.

  • This article also acknowledges that animal rights activists in Australia don’t see a bigger picture.

  • This article acknowledges that industrial agriculture interest groups has been actively working to make farmers go ever ‘bigger is better’ with incentives to intensify their operation. This is partly to capitalise on trade agreements.

  • It acknowledges that more intensified industrial animal agriculture practises - that has created significantly more problematic superbugs, animal diseases due to more weakened immune systems, and environmental pollution - may eventually be great justification for the laboratory grown and cultured meat and dairy, that is receiving massive financial backing.

  • This article acknowledges that the human collective are dealing with significant human and animal biosecurity outbreaks and that rigorous farm biosecurity systems are important.

  • This article acknowledges the installation of massive amounts of red tape has made sustainable livestock farming prohibitive in Australia, despite massive consumer demand for foods like raw milk cheese and raw milk. Australia seem to be more than two decades behind other countries when it comes to allowing these foods, and kinder farming models that benefits the small-scale farmer.

  • This means that conscious consumers are either without, or struggle greatly to find the food of their choice, sourced directly from the small-scale farmer, in alternative, kinder, more ethical food systems that suits the conscious consumer.

DISCLAIMER

Please note that the writer of this article is a nutrient-dense, paddock to plate foodie, and are concerned that REAL nutrient-dense foods are being driven out of reach of the consumer by government red tape, and legislative injustices, in favour of supermarket fare and alternatives that are receiving massive financial backing, like lab created meat and dairy foods, that are not palatable to some. Truely sustainable animal agriculture and food freedom should not be disrespected in the pursuit of creating these new forms of so-called ‘climate friendly’ food. This week Made by Cow milk went into administration; who sold milk marketed as raw milk, that isn’t real raw milk at all, due to rising costs and distribution difficulties.

Animal Rights Movement? Who are They and What do they do?

This article provides a great basis to understand this concept from a practical point of view. In essence, an animal rights activist is someone who believes that animals are not for humans to use for clothing, food, animal research, or entertainment, and fights to reduce non-human animal suffering. However, this should not be confused with animal welfare, which allows these uses under a set of humane guidelines. Activists are aiming to make people more sensitive to animal suffering in every industry where animals are found, due to human exploitation or abuse. Animal rights are not a new concept. There have been many precursors to the movement, with the first documented legislation taking place some 200 years when in 1635, it was prohibited tearing the wool of living sheep. This legislation was followed up years later, in 1882, when the ‘Martin’s Act’ was passed, preventing cruelty to cattle. There are many well-known non-profit organisations to educate better and inform the public that animals are sensitive, emotional, intelligent living beings who deserve dignity and respect.

Dominion: The Confrontational Animal Cruelty Movie 2018

According to Wikipedia, Dominion is an Australian documentary film released in 2018 by animal rights activist Chris Delforce. The film seeks to portray some animal agricultural practices by using footage secretly filmed using hidden cameras and aerial drones. The film focuses on six topics: farmed animals, wild animals, companion animals, entertainment animals, fur animals, and animal experimentation.

Animal rights activists have called Dominion a powerful documentary. It has been called the "New Earthlings," which is a 2005 American documentary film about humanity's use of animals as pets, food, clothing, entertainment, and for scientific research.

By the time of the release date of Dominion on 29 March 2018, MakeMake was at 3 degrees Libra and Quaoar at 2 degrees Capricorn, with both aspecting Gonggong at 3 degrees Pisces. Mars conjuncted Quaoar. The Sedna Yod was also within tight orb with Haumea at 25 degrees Libra sexitile Ixion at 27 degrees Sagittarius making an apex on Sedna conjunct malefic fixed star Algol at 26 degrees Taurus. Listen to the edited speeches from the largest animal rights protest in Australian history at the historic 28 April 2028 Animal Rights march here. The movie was filmed to be a feature-length documentary sequel to Lucent (2014), which mostly focused on the Australian pig farming industry. At the screening of Lucent, Quaoar and MakeMake was in wide square, with the Sedna Yod in tight orb.

One year anniversary of Dominion March/April 2019 and ‘World’s biggest Animal Rights Protest’.

Around the start of April 2019, MakeMake was at 4 degrees Libra and Quaoar at 3 degrees Capricorn aspecting Gonggong tightly, and the Sedna Yod was again with tight orb with Sedna at the apex conjunct malefic fixed star Algol. Haumea squared Pluto and make a Hammer of Thor apex on transiting Mars at 10 degrees Gemini. Eris squared Pluto in a tight orb under 1 degree…

There was a large amount of animal activism activity here in Australia that the media wrote about in the weeks thereafter. Animal activists were planning mass farm invasions labelled “the biggest animal rights action the world has ever seen”. The previous month, 100 members stormed onto David McNamee’s Queensland cattle farm wearing “meat the victims” T-shirts. The farmer later said he feared for his family as they were alone with no protection and when he ordered the demonstrators to leave, they ignored him.

Animal activists protest across Australia, stormed abatoirs and a group of about 100 blocked Flinders street traffic at an intersection in Melbourne. Vegan Rising campaign director Kristin Leigh said the Flinders Street protest was one of nine planned around the country.

"We want people to go vegan, we want people to stop supporting animal abuse," she reportedly said."I don't believe any good person supports what's happening in slaughterhouses and so-called farms today, these are places of exploitation of innocent vulnerable beings. Animals are suffering in ways that most of us could never imagine. It's not about bigger cages, it's about animal liberation." The same article talks about people infiltrating and/or chaining themselves to equipment at an abattoir, at various locations across different Australian states.

The protests were organised to mark the one-year anniversary of the release of the documentary Dominion, which looks into practices employed daily on Australian livestock farms.

New Laws and Fines introduced for Farm Trespass as Animal Activist Punishments

In December 2021 new laws were introduced with huge fines in Victoria. The on-the-spot fines were a recommendation from a parliamentary inquiry into animal activism, which was set up back in May 2019 after an activist was fined $1 for breaking biosecurity laws when stealing livestock from a Gippsland goat farm. While Victoria established an inquiry into the issue, Queensland introduced a $652.75 on-the-spot fine and NSW a $1000 on-the-spot fine the same year, that a national day of protests caused chaos across the country, including shutting down a major Melbourne intersection at peak hour. The Victorian government said the new laws were the toughest of their kind in Australia and will deter people from trespassing on farms. Victoria's farm lobby group Victorian Farmers Federation welcomed what they called 'overdue' laws. Under the Livestock Management Amendment (Animal Activism) Act 2021 penalties of $10,904 for an individual and up to $54,522 may apply to an organisation for more serious offending.

Phasing out Battery-Farmed Eggs

From 1 January 2023, a New Zealand ban came into effect on cage eggs after battery cages for layer hens became illegal in New Zealand. The Australian government last year committed to phasing out battery cages for hens by 2036, a 14-year lead time for a reform that followed seven years of negotiation with the egg industry to update the animal welfare standards and guidelines for poultry. New Zealand announced its 2023 phase-out in 2012. Australia is more than a decade behind similar nations in responding to consumer sentiment. “Europe phased them out in 2012 and that’s about when New Zealand started their phase-out,” Glenys Oogjes from Animals Australia told Guardian Australia. “So we’re not just 10 years behind. We are at least 20 if not 30 years behind in regard to the science and the ethics.”

Calls for Investigation after Footage of Pigs Stunned by Gas

In March 2023, there were calls for greater scrutiny of the pork industry after the ABC's 7.30 program aired footage of pigs being stunned by carbon dioxide before slaughter. See the hard to watch video here. Greens senator Mehreen Faruqi said the government needs to urgently respond. For years, industry has led consumers to believe gassing is a humane way to kill pigs and that the pigs simply drift off painlessly into a never-ending sleep. "It was hard to watch and even harder to stomach and the industry has known about this for years and done nothing. It's unacceptable that brave activists have to put their personal liberty at stake to expose what the community has a right to know.” Even a farmer remarked on the cruelty of this gas practice on pigs.

Australia/New Zealand Livestock Export Ban

Also in March, Nationals leader David Littleproud slammed animal rights activists because live sheep exports bans ‘will hurt sheep farming families in Western Australia. Yet Federal Labor had made a pre-election commitment to end the trade of live sheep being permitted to sail from an Australian port, which farmers are now appealing. New Zealand has shut down live export of animals entirely, as it is simply incompatible with animal welfare.

The Australian farming sector has united in support in a letter signed by 25 peak industry groups including the National Farmers' Federation, Cattle Australia and WoolProducers Australia, argued the ban "represents a red line that cannot be crossed", saying a ban would be detrimental to rural communities and international markets. It is feared animal welfare campaigners won't stop at just the live sheep industry…

In March, there was also a Sydney Animal March Rights march to protest against the systemic abuse and exploitation of animals under Australian law. It called on society to stop the ongoing exploitation of billions of animals, which includes being forced to race, live in cages, having offspring removed, fur ripped out and living a confined and torturous life prior to being killed early.

Protestors Blocked a Melbourne Intersection 25 May 2023 and Scrapping an Animal Welfare Bill

It seems that the activists who profess love and kindness for animals, behave with intimidation, threats and harassment, when dealing with the farmers who work so hard to ethically produce our food.
— Sky News host Amanda Stoker

On this date 25 May 2023, MakeMake is at nearly 8 degrees Libra with Quaoar at 8 degrees Capricorn in tight aspect to Gonggong/Saturn. Mars was activating the - in tight orb - Varuna Yod apex with Quaoar sextile Gonggong/Saturn. The Sedna Yod was within 3 degree orb with Varda sextile Haumea. On this day that extended into 3 days of various protesting activities, eight Extinction Rebellion protesters were apprehended by police in Melbourne’s CBD on Thursday after blocking traffic and gluing themselves and posters to roads and buildings. The group of around 100 protesters took over the intersection of Latrobe St and Queen St at around 8am, blocking traffic for 20 minutes, before moving down Latrobe St. A vegan activist also splashed a local KFC with ‘blood’ in an animal rights protest, while she and other activists carried a tv displaying vision of chickens in a slaughterhouse, and animals crying out.

This date coincides with a landmark animal rights bill in the UK that would have given new protections to livestock and pets, being ditched by Rishi Sunak’s government. The legislation would have delivered on a string of Tory manifesto commitments, including ending live animal exports, cracking down on puppy smuggling and banning people keeping primates as pets. The Conservative 2019 manifesto promised to bring in new laws to protect animal welfare, including tougher sentences for animal cruelty. Boris Johnson announced the Animal Welfare (Kept Animals) Bill following his election victory.

Sedna, MakeMake, Quaoar and Gonggong Regarding Sustenance and Nutritional Depletion, and Connecting the Dots…

  • It is curious that Sedna in astrology is about food as sustenance. Sedna’s Inuit mythology revolves around the peoples of the arctic, who cannot grow any fruit or vegetables, yet they thrive of the ABUNDANT FOOD SUPPLY that the arctic ocean supplies, in the form of the walruses, wales, sea lions, fish, polar bears, etc. Yet Sedna in astrology is also about the massive storms that deprive the Inuit of a continuous food supply, due to being unable to hunt. The shaman attributes this inability to hunt to find food, clothing and sustenance, to the moral decay of the community, and to remedy the situation, spiritual balance needs to be restored, find the details in this article.

  • MakeMake and the story of the birdman is decidedly about competition to indulge in elitist access to nutrient-dense food and creating troubles, making things worse by refusing to accept failure of a selfish lifestyle, that prolongs suffering and prevents aid, and delay of a resolution to the problem regarding potential collapse of civilisation. MakeMake is the story of near EXTINCTION on Rapa Nui island, due to desecrating natural resources and having a great difficulty maintaining agrarian ethos, male fertility and perpetuation of human population. In the media, many have commented on how the “greenies” will destroy the environment in the name of protecting it. (Ironically, Extinction Rebellion is a UK-headquartered global environmental movement, with ideologies that has many astonishing parallels with MakeMake’s mythology.)

  • Quaoar also has elements about the rise and fall of righteous societal leadership, and how the consciousness and frequency of those in power, tend to determine the lifestyle, administration of food and spiritual culture, and preservation of natural resources for others.

  • Gonggong is another trans-Neptunian object with strong mythological roots in agriculture and civilisations having to contend with the destructive forces of nature.

Sedna, MakeMake, Quaoar and Gongong all carry elements in the lower expression of SCARCITY TACTICS, as the trans-Neptunian objects often have similarities. This refers to a most basic economic problem, which deals with how people satisfy unlimited wants and needs with limited resources. Scarcity is the result of imbalance in supply and demand for goods or a service.

MakeMake is also nutritional depletion, lack of fertility and feeling disconnected from others and nature in relation. Part 1 and Part 2 of the discussion around MakeMake’s discovery chart, paints a picture of completely running out of nutritionally dense food, and showing signs of starvation and physical degeneration. It’s about having put all the eggs in ‘the wrong basket’ and realising almost too late what is really relevant as it pertains to sustainability, physical survival and being able to thrive. It’s the wisdom that is gained often only in hindsight, after there had been great competition and fighting over the wrong things. MakeMake is the immense inner anger, about declining resources and feeling deprived of a

healthy ecosystem that supports abundant life. Instead feeling like crabs in a bucket, that causes activists/animal liberators in a mob to trespass on farms, to take footage of what they call animal abuse, and then use the footage to fundraise for political purposes; to campaign to shut down livestock farming down completely. MakeMake is about drumming up a political force for change in how resources are managed.

Higher expression MakeMake is about receptivity to collective forces. It’s about putting aside competitive, individual goals, so we can tune into higher forces that focus on the bigger picture and collective aspirations.

Scientists have shown that the vegan lifestyle deprives the human body of certain nutrients, like healthy fatty acids that enable healthy body function in the nerve endings, and there has been stories of vegans who had abandoned this lifestyle due to their declining health, recovering their health after re-introducing a varied omnivore diet.

MAKEMAKE SQUARE QUAOAR

In short, Quaoar is about ENLIGHTENMENT, and with Quaoar squaring MakeMake there will be a massive amount of pressure that releases on planets that move into the apex…. Uranus, Jupiter, Algol and Sedna…

Keep reading to understand these dynamics…

The Kuiper Belt objects are said to bring hope, change, expanded thinking, soul purpose, and quantum leaps into our consciousness.

Makemake is the second largest Kuiper belt object after Pluto. Quaoar is slightly larger than Sedna, which is a detached object.

Social Media Bullying of Farmers in Australia

On the 2nd of June 2019 ABC Landline revealed the fierce social media bullying and deep resentment between farmers and animal activists in Australia, now centred around the Gippy Goat incident where vegan activists trespassed and stole livestock. Landline also had a story about ethical farming, and how regulations in Australia continues to make it challenging or impossible for small-scale farmers to produce the more ethical food options supportive ethical omnivores seek. There seems to be a fear that if more ethical or biodiverse options are enabled, that it could disadvantage the kind of operations in existence, or make them appear ‘unethical’ or less desirable by comparison. Some farmers had initially set themselves against those who try to fill a niche, until they learn about the details, as Dr Les Sandles from ethical How Now dairy explain in this interview at the 23 minute time marker.

Industry is the Problem when it Comes to Alternatives in Ethical, Kinder and Sustainable Farming Models

There is fierce competition and rivalry in the Australian dairy industry to maintain the status quo, yet the dairy industry doesn’t seem to understand why they are receiving abuse over ‘the status quo’. Watch this March 2019 video released recently from a feedlot in Millmerran, where vegans challenged dairy farmers to explain how they feel about “taking babies away from their mothers”. Vegans vowed they will continue to rage against the farming machine. Why has Australian regulations that hinder kinder alternatives been in place for so long? Big business, industrial agriculture and food as commodity have enjoyed priority, even though many consumers have lost trust in these food production systems a long time ago. Many small scale farmers wish to produce raw milk, raw milk cheese and truely biodiverse pasture-raised meat or eggs that meets the standards of the conscious consumers that these farmers want to have a direct farm-to-consumer relationship with, without some industry or interest group middleman interfering in what the consumer eat.

The Health of Vegans?

The age group of vegan protestors most often seen in animal activism footage is the young millennials who grew up with the industrial food system. These foods are often highly processed and low-value, cheap commodities. Many were motivated by a health crisis in the first place, to seek out alternatives like organic. They found plant-based mylks because it doesn’t cause stomach cramps, wind, bloating and other issues commonly experienced with processed dairy. These individuals may initially enjoy the detoxifying benefits of a stint on the vegan diet, but as scientists point out, it is not a sustainable diet. Millennials have higher rates of eight of the top 10 most common health conditions by their mid-30s than generation X-ers did at the same age. Other than moral considerations, health is a big motivator behind the choices these people make, which may be why some have resentment, hostility, hate and toxic feelings about food and where it comes from.

Nutrient-dense Food of Nature and Vegans

The egg is the symbol for many things, but in this discussion, an egg is one of the most nutrient-dense and nutrient complete foods known in the natural world. It contains everything to start new life and to sustain life, and it is pivotal in MakeMake’s birdman mythology.

Australian millennials often do not understand the massive nutritional benefits of foods like raw drinking milk, grain-free truely pasture-raised eggs, pasture-raised animal products like meat and dairy, or ethically-raised, chemical-free animal products in general. It is a curious reality that many millennials and ex-vegans overseas, are now raw milk producers overseas. Many people in society find they are becoming more sensitive, and they cannot eat what they once did. They may believe that certain foods (like highly processed pasteurised dairy that often gives them bloating or intolerance) are bad for them, but as evidence show, even extreme beliefs can change when a deeper understanding around alternatives can be reached. This is why it is important that alternatives exist in the first place. Vegans may discover in time that it’s not WHAT we eat that matters, but HOW it was produced. Many ancient cultures knew what to eat, to have healthy babies, and according to the Weston A. Price Foundation, this included a diet rich in pasture-raised animal products that naturally contain plenty of vitamin A,D, K etc. see more here. It’s a curious fact that many of the now established raw milk producers in the USA and UK, were once vegans in disconnect from nutritionally dense food. See the emaciated carvings of the moai from Rapa Nui, which are part of MakeMake’s story below.

Declining Male Fertility is another hot topic.

This is exactly what was witnessed in MakeMake's mythology, on Rapa Nui island where scarce resources, and elitist access to nutrient-dense foods (like a bird's egg) was the norm in the last years before it's near total collapse of civilisation. As MakeMake squares Quaoar making a Hammer of Thor apex on Uranus in the zodiac sign of Taurus the bull, it is quite hilarious that at the start of this video, a pregnant woman (milkmaid?) is seen amongst lactating cows eating grass, while being milked for their nutrient-dense (unpasteurised) milk. Lightbulb moment and sudden flash of insight and genius (Uranus in Taurus)? For sure!

MakeMake Square Quaoar is the tension brewing between those who are nutritionally depleted and (h)angry (MakeMake) in tension with finding consciousness and ultimate enlightenment (Quaoar) as it pertains to the square releasing on Uranus (sudden insight and revolutionary ideas) in relation to Taurus issues (food, Taurus the bull, dairy, meat, farming practises, long term investments, the economy, etc.)

The mighty force that Hammers can bring won’t be without some destruction of old systems, that were carefully built over many years, that in truth have faulty foundations… or that do not serve a wholesome purpose… If it doesn’t have integrity, chances are it’s going to come down in a flash of sudden change, where things may never be the same again…

MakeMake squaring Quaoar brings tension on the last decan of Taurus, that lasts until Uranus finally leaves Taurus in late April 2026, with MakeMake at 11 degrees Libra and Quaoar at 12 degrees Capricorn, but with Chiron moving into Taurus a month later.

Astrologer Pam Gregory has demonstrated how in history, Uranus in Taurus has been associated with extreme dry heat and quantum change (MakeMake in Libra currently squares Quaoar in Capricorn, making a Hammer of Thor apex on Uranus in Taurus.) This pressure on Uranus in Taururs is going to require that farmers make their livelihoods more resilient to climate extremes.

Note that the square lasts beyond 2030 as the astrology charts below indicate.

Hammer of Thor with MakeMake Square Quaoar making an apex on Uranus and Algol in Taurus, and Sedna in Gemini

The last time Uranus came close to this area in the zodiac (19 degrees Taurus) in July 2022, the media started scaremongering about the threat of Foot and Mouth disease coming into Australia, threatening the livestock industry (meat and dairy). Taurus is very much about grounded events on the earth and material plain, finances, food, resources, the natural world, agriculture, and cattle… and this Hammer on the apex can trigger any number of Taurus issues or events…

For many years MakeMake square Quaoar have been squaring, yet at a very pivotal moment in June/July 2023 they square exactly with a transiting planet very close to the apex point, which is Uranus. As MakeMake square Quaoar continue to move together (both being trans-Neptunian objects that move extraordinarily slow), first Uranus, then Jupiter, Algol and eventually Sedna will fall under the hammer apex. Uranus is the planet of unexpected change and great upheaval, and in Taurus, this entails the hammering of Taurus the bull, farming, agriculture, finances, assets, status quo, etc. This is discussed in various other articles on this website that will not be repeated here. See the charts below for a visual representative of the long-lasting aspect patterns and check the dates to comprehend the LONGEVITY of this period that this astrologer calls a CLIMATE OF CHANGE:

Note how both a Hammer of Thor aspect pattern and a Yod apexes on Sedna in 2030, just like the Hammer and Yod apex in Sedna’s discovery chart… Click to enlarge images.

The Sedna Yod and Overriding Industry Influence in What Consumers Can and Cannot Eat

The Sedna Yod consists of Ixion sextile Haumea. Ixion is about betrayal, disloyalty and trickery to take a selfish gain that harms another, sextile Haumea’s desire for regeneration. Examples of Haumea shows it being prominent in the charts of those with a profound love for the conservation of nature, like naturalists and conservationists, with Sir David Attenborough as a famous example. Both barrel down on Sedna in the last decan of Taurus, about to enter Gemini. Sedna has been conjunct malefic star Algol as early as mid 2014, which is when the political push for industrial agriculture and international trade in Australia took off in earnest… that meant a CRUEL curb on what Australians can and cannot eat… so that overseas markets can get what they desire.

Sedna lower expression is about seeking total control, manipulation and domination of markets and being money hungry.

Sedna in Gemini entails taking social license - from political lobbying or position of influence in large industry/business - to disadvantage large groups of people, for a materialistic gain of a particular industry, and the financial interests around it. In agriculture (Taurus) for example, it is the desire for surplus and massive consumption to quell the insecurities and make huge profits. It’s the quantity over quality, neglecting the nutritional value of food, and also cutting off the farming practices that some conscious consumers desire; making it too hard with red tape for small scale farmers to develop a niche (with nutrient-dense food like raw milk cheese, or certain ethical farming practices) that would otherwise see the consumer shop direct from the small-scale farmer and pay them a sustainable, rewarding price instead.

It entails making farming communities unstable, unviable with large-scale agriculture practices. It’s stealing the wealth of the farmer, and the health of the consumer (in terms of their sustenance of choice) and interfering in their relationship, for big business profit and big cities where people live in disconnection from nature, but entrenched in rampant spending, greed and materialism (Taurus). See more information on the Sedna Blog.

Sedna will be concluding her sojourn in the zodiac sign of Taurus in 2024. Ixion (betrayal, disloyalty, trickery) also concludes being a leg in the Yod and by April 2024, Varda takes over as leg in the Sedna yod, taking it beyond 2030, hopefully being a more enlightened time with Ixion out of the 3 degree orb afforded a yod.

Sustainable Farming in Australia Often Not Viable due to Big Agriculture Industry Influence

Many Australian farmers departed from sustainable farming and adopted industrial agriculture due to the lure of great wealth of international trade, and also because of policies that were in place to limit the direct farm-to-consumer food sales.

If consumers had been able to enjoy a direct relationship with the food producer, and an ability to influence them around the food production of their choice, farming would have evolved in a different direction. Raw dairy is a good example. If small-scale dairy farmers had been able to sell their valuable goods directly to consumers without unfair regulations working against them, many farmers would never have intensified or risked

losing everything. Food safety is often the justification provided for the over-the-top regulations that hinder small-scale farmers, however, research show Australia continues to have significant increases in number and severity of illness outbreaks due to certain food-borne illness, compared to similar countries. Over the last 50 years government has legislated on the basis that it's dangerous to allow people to enjoy their own cottage food local economies, yet Australians are losing their resistance to pathogens at a fast rate, because they don’t have sufficient immunity in the gut lining in the form of diverse species beneficial microbes. This article explores several dysfunctions around current food production systems in Australia. A clean and green ‘outer image’ no longer determines how consumers view food.

If the natural evolution of our local food security and local food economy had been enabled, the complex social issues around animal activism and food production practices may never have escalated to the degree it has here in Australia.

Channel 10’s The Project produced this story about Australia’s ethical How Now Dairy. This cow/calf kind dairy keeps calves and their mothers together. This is important because there is great consumer demand for dairy choice in an industry that have been hugely resistant to change. Even Dairy Australia’s chief executive David Nation reportedly said disruption to the status quo had benefits for Australian dairy. Dairy Australia's own programs - installed years ago - urge farmers to remove the calf from its mother soon after birth.

Culling Cattle to Meet Green/Climate Targets?

At the start of June 2023, announcements came that the Irish government was looking at culling 200,000 cattle to bring the agriculture sector in line with climate targets. Another article said that Ireland would need to cull up to 1.3 million cattle to reach government targets for reducing so called greenhouse gasses. This is happening while new holes are being drilled into the earth in search of natural gas - called fracking - releasing massive amounts of methane?

One has to hope that the insanity, farse, gaslighting and scapegoating by large industry interest groups hoping to influence government into taking reckless actions, are seen for what they are… This is the reality of the Sedna Yod being in its last phase with Ixion (betrayal, disloyalty) as leg; it’s about the sustained but very slow moving action of the Sedna Yod apex. However, MakeMake square Quaoar will be pushing stronger for rapid (sometimes destructive) change on Hammer of Thor apex Uranus… It may not come with sugar coated, politically-dressed for success but nonsensical reasonings and justifications for destroying entire industries…

A hammer on Uranus may in fact include plenty of sudden SHOCKS OF PROFOUND TRUTH… and the sudden realisations regarding UTTER STUPIDITY

MakeMake’s Rapa Nui island’s climate changed, due to human mismanagement of fertile natural resources.

Fertility is a highly important concept in ancient sea-fairing Polynesian culture, that is perhaps most important in the mythology, of MakeMake (pronounced MakeiMakei). Rapa Nui culture of the time before near total societal/environmental collapse worshipped MakeMake, the bird man spirit, which has strong connections to the Hawaiian stories of Haumea, who had a magical stick called the makalei, which is symbolic of providing food abundantly, from nature’s natural capital and wealth. In Hawaii, nature is lush, green and provides abundantly, however, Rapa Nui islands climate changed due to human activities, which meant that nutrient-dense foods like the egg, became paramount for fertility, on multiple levels.

IN CONCLUSION:

What You Should Eat Dictates and the Uranus in Taurus Revolution

Uranus in Taurus with a Hammer of Thor apex on Uranus in the sign of the bull escalates these Taurus issues prominently… We are already seeing the building industry collapsing, financial investments going bust, businesses closing, popular dairy brand like Made by Cow going into voluntary administration… The lab grown, cultured food industry is currently receiving massive financial backing and it is said that in 10 years, fake meat will be in supermarkets. Cultured pork and wooly mammoth are already under construction, see the details in this article.

Australia is an egalitarian country. Everyone should have the right to access and eat what they want to eat, despite the moral or stealth goal to profit objections of others. Conscious consumers also have the right the seek out the sustainably grown food, from the small-scale farmer of farming practises of their choice, without the POLITICAL INFLUENCE from big industry groups telling them they cannot…. and they must go to the supermarket instead… or eat what is produced in a laboratory… or eat according to how a vegan dictates…

Uranus governs societies, clubs, and any group based on humanitarian or progressive ideals. Uranus, the planet of sudden and unexpected changes, rules freedom and originality. In society, it rules radical ideas and people, as well as revolutionary events that upset established structures (which is Taurus). Uranus is risk, innovation and the great awakener. Uranus in Taurus is also divine insight and flashes of genius, so hopefully this may entail new REAL SOLUTIONS along with the departure of Taurus structures that are outdated, being demolished and collapsing…

Industry and farming lobbies may currently enjoy their stronghold on what consumers eat, activists may have been gaining political ground, and lab cultured food had received massive financial backing, but conscious consumers have the right to demand access to the food of their choice, for their sustenance and satisfaction of their nutritional needs…

The Hammer on Uranus is likely to be the start of massive radical change for those who think they can dictate on political ground what others cannot have to satisfy themselves nutritionally… and monopolise food choice like some selfish hooligan… The hammer that MakeMake and Quaoar activates on the apex planets, may demolish even the most Machiavellian from dictatorship… The apex on Uranus may be experienced as senses overload, nervous system meltdowns, crazy behaviour or investors walking away from what they had built over a very long time due to running out of emotional investment in certain outdated Taurean structures… It’s quantum change and revolutionary.

When Eris and Pluto squared in 2020-2021 it made a hammer apex on trans-Neptunian object Orcus, which entailed the forcing of everyone into the underworld (coronavirus lockdown) to face inner chaos, destruction and re-evaluation.

This new hammer may be the start of forcing transformative breaking down what had been carefully erected over many decades in Taurus, for chaos and destruction and rebuilding… With Pluto going back into Capricorn squaring the Nodes of Fate, this suggests that transformation on a governmental or societal level is possible, but what will this entail? Time will tell, as Uranus will be at the apex of this hammer several times.
