On this day, the sun moves to conjunct malefic star Algol at 26 degrees Taurus, however, this Quaoar in Capricorn square MakeMake in Libra energy has been active for many years.

On this day Jupiter at 17 degrees Taurus and Uranus at 23 degrees are also part of this cluster that may get highly activated by fast moving Sun making the Hammer apex (25 degrees Taurus) a hotspot.

The chart directly below is from a few months earlier, but still demonstrates the Hammer adequately.
