Jupiter conjunct Eris

From around the 16th of April to the end of April, Jupiter whizzes past Eris in Aries. This happens about every 12 years, and this conjunction will be from mid April to end of April. Expect a flareup of Eris issues or a reverberation of the issues from the Eris Pluto square. (The next Jupiter conjunct Eris will be in April 2035).

Just like all the other planets, Eris energy too has a higher and a lower expression: it’s about GREAT WEALTH, GREAT FORTUNE, ARGUMENTS, opposing views and regarding having the heart in the right place, or not. Eris is about the choices we make; ‘who is the fairest?’, the right path, or the wrong path and far-reaching consequences. Eris issues start with being disconnected from the heart and its wisdom, and from this small matter, massive towering crises grow and empires fall.

Anyone wanting to misuse the playing games with other’s mental health, flipping the narrative, projecting lies, fear or illusions, or putting another in a gruelling situation where they are psychologically trapped, better reconsider such idiocy and dangerous ground.

Those choosing to indulge in the abusive, competitive, gaslighting, bullying energy of Jupiter conjunct Eris - like looking for enjoyment from the mean girls party scene, cackling and feeling invigorated by evil,manipulative, nasty behaviour - better look out for the backfire effect, good spanking, or perhaps new karmic cycles initiating where groundhog day is on auto-repeat, soon thereafter. Why? With Themis in the mix, the temptation for the riling up of chaos and instability, isn’t quite worth the brief satisfaction for having created lunacy… (Watch for some whiplash for being short-sighted, immature, or hubristic!).

This eclipse with Pluto on the bendings is about change, truth and releasing into freedom and ultimately new beginnings. Saturn joining Gonggong at the apex of the Gonggong Yod entails powerful directional energies regarding getting real, releasing the spiritual poverty, and social justice. Enjoy the ride, but do so responsibly, for this GRANDE DESIGN MIX is not energy to clown around in... for there are too many powerful directional energies involved that will bring cause and effect, endings, new beginnings, or karma for foolishness. This conjunction happens just before the 20 April 2023 Solar eclipse, and during as well.

There is a solar eclipse on this day, but there is a strange but synchronous lineup of all the characters involved in the Judgement of Paris, which is part of Eris’ mythology. Eris, Themis, Jupiter (Zeus), Pallas Athena and Hera are all aspecting each other, with Mercury (Hermes) at 15 degrees Taurus turning retrograde on the solar eclipse! How curious!

Also,

  • Haumea had just retrograded back into Libra.

  • Jupiter will be conjunct Eris from mid April to the end of April.

  • The Gonggong Yod goes into 3 degree orb on the day of the eclipse. 

  • Saturn conjuncts Gonggong in Pisces.

  • Quaoar squares MakeMake and makes a Hammer of Thor apex on Juno (watch for relationship meltdowns).

  • Pluto squares the Sun and Moon and makes a Hammer of Thor apex on Orcus (back to the Underworld?).

  • Mercury turns retrograde the next day.

  • The Sedna Yod is in orb with Varda and Haumea as legs.

  • The Haumea Yod is in orb with Manwe and Sedna as legs.

  • The Varuna Yod is in orb with Ixion and Gonggong as legs.

Eris conjunct Chiron will start in 2024 - 2026, and by the time this happens, the pot may have been well stirred, and the setup of the stage established.
