Varuna at the Apex of a Yod with Gonggong in Pisces and Quaoar in Capricorn
Varuna in Leo is the apex of a Yod with Gonggong in Pisces and Quaoar in Capricorn in sextile aspect. It relates to the trans-Neptunian planets that contribute to the spectacular configuration in the astrological sky, at the ingress of the Haumea Yod seen below.
Some students may wish to have access to this information in interpreting the Yod and Hamer of Thor aspect patterns that dwarf planet Varuna are part of, as this energy may uniquely manifest, as part of the configurations in their birth charts. This information is meant to be used for understanding and alchemy, and may explain some of the heavy energies that started since early 2020. In August 2020, Kuiper belt object Varuna in Leo became the apex of a Yod between kuiper belt objects Gongong sextile Quaoar (Ixion). The Varuna Yod dissolves around mid 2025.
The nature of a Yod was described in great detail in this online course, and it entails the powerful energies of the two planets that sextile, and through the blindsiding power of two inconjuncts/quincuncx aspects, barrel energy powerfully down on the apex planet, which is then forced to express in an unexpected, and often highly surprising way, as it pertains to the qualities of the planet or object.
The Varuna Yod entail three very slow moving trans-Neptunian objects, in each Yod, the effect of this is very slow moving and grinding, which picks up pace whenever the Yod is in close orb, transited by other ‘activating’ planets (Saturn as is the case from May 2023+), and particularly as it nears the end of the lifetime of that Yod aspect patterns formation. Having-to-take-responsibility Saturn, will be retrograding in June 2023 and will be hovering around Gonggong until around February 2024, therefore the effect will be grinding and powerful. Even though the Yod may conclude in mid 2025, the energy of aspect patterns like this - with slow moving trans-Neptunian objects - linger longer.

The MakeMake square Quaoar aspect is about is about the smite that the Hammer of Thor apex makes in Taurus smiting things Taurus, perhaps into oblivion. Curiously, both this Hammer apex and the Sedna Yod makes apexes in Taurus, which is the sign of the bull. Together they are creating massive upset and change in agriculture, the natural world, earth matters, and with cattle; with the recent threat of foot and mouth disease in Australia a great example of the manifestation of this energy. This Hammer apex will also be on malefic fixed star Algol, Uranus and eventually Sedna.
